Archaeopteryx lithographica (CB-Topps)

“Original Bird” was discovered in the 1860 and described in 1861 by Christian Erich Hermann von Meyer. Lived in the late Jurassic Period around 155–150 million years ago, in what is now southern Germany. Archaeopteryx was 0.5 meters (1.6ft.) in length and weighted as much as a Pica pica. Worthy note is Archaeopteryx portrait in the comic looks to be capable of powerful flight contrary to what we believe the real animal could do.
