“Three Horned Face” discovered in 1888 in Wyoming by John Bell Hatcher & described by Othniel Charles Marsh in 1890. Triceratops lived during the Late Cretaceous Period about 68 to 65 million years ago. It was over 9 meters (30 ft.) in length, 3 meters (10 ft.) in height at the top of crest, & 7 tons in weight.

Triceratops were the first dinosaurs encountered by Dennis Nedry during his first visit to Jurassic  Park. Initially believing them to be animatronic, Nedry was handed sugar cubes by John Hammond to feed them with.
