Monica is 
one of the two paleontologists who arrives to investigate. Monica is Jorge Ramirez’s daughter. Her and her father arrive on the scene after hearing of the mutilations and killing, having theorized that some of the InGen animals of Jurassic Park (specifically the Pteranodons) have migration patterns that follow the seasons that might cause the creatures to head north on wind currents. She helps out the investigation while it goes on. During the final confrontation with the last remaining pterosaur she hops into a polar bear enclosure, where the bear and the pteranodon then fight to the death, the bear being the victor. After Will Tobias’ funeral she says that she presumes to believe that there is more to come yet with the creatures of Jurassic Park due to the migration patterns.
