The Heckler & Koch MP5K is one of the game’s few sub-machine guns. It comes in two versions, suppressed and unsuppressed, and carries (an incorrect) sixty rounds.
This gun is relatively common in early levels, but can be found in larger numbers later on. It is fully automatic and has decent range, the unsuppressed greater than the suppressed. It’s power is less than some of the other SMG’s in the game, but it is still a good weapon to carry due to its decent magazine size.
The MP5, of which the MP5K is a variant, is a 9mm SMG of German design, developed in the 1960’s by the small-arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch GmbH. Currently one of the most widely-used fire-arms in the world, various military, law-enforcement, security, and intelligence organizations have adopted it for use. It comes in numerous variations with multiple attachments.
The gun fires 9 mm rounds. The magazine sizes range from 15, 30, and 32 rounds, while some carry 1oo-round drum magazines.
The barrel length for the MP5K is 115 mm (4.5 in.), while the total length is 325 mm (12.8 in.).
