The radio tag was embedded in the sample of the aberrant form that Richard Levine was able to cut out. When Ian Malcom sent the sample in for testing,the tag on the specimen caused a stir at the San Francisco Zoo where he sent it in. Embossed on the tag was the legend ‘Site B’, which which the final piece of evidence Malcom needed to convince him of the existence of another Island. The radio tag was originally implanted by InGen employees in their dinosaurs to ensure that they could track them on Isla Sorna. The tags were implanted in the animal since birth.
