American Cockroach (S/F-T/G)

The American cockroach (Periplaneta americana) is a species of large cockroach in the family Blattidae. Despite its name, it is not endemic to the Americas, but rather comes from Africa and the Arabian Peninsula; it was introduced to North America in the seventeenth century, due to European slave traders crossing the Atlantic Ocean. From here, global commerce has introduced these insects to warm regions around the globe.
