Arthropleura sp. (L/M)

Arthropleura is a genus of very large millipedes in the family Arthropleuridae. Its fossils are found in North America and Europe. This arthropod originally lived during the Viséan stage of the Carboniferous period to the Sakmarian stage of the Permian period, between 345 and 290 million years ago. Several species are known:
