Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (S/F-T/G)

The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is an American-made strategic bomber jet designed and manufactured by the Boeing Company. It was first built in 1952 and continues to be used by the United States Air Force for long-range bombing operations; it is able to carry up to 70,000 pounds of weapons and has a range of 8,800 miles. Although the B-52 was originally used for carrying nuclear weapons during the Cold War, it has only ever been used to drop conventional bombs.
