Brontosaurus sp. (L/M)

Brontosaurus is a genus of very large herbivorous sauropod dinosaur in the family Diplodocidae. Its fossils are found in western North America, and it originally lived during the Kimmeridgian and Tithonian stages of the late Jurassic period, between 156.3 and 146.8 million years ago. There are three known species: Brontosaurus yahnahpin, Brontosaurus excelsus (the largest known), and Brontosaurus parvus (the smallest).
