The Carnotaurus in the Jurassic Park: Redemption story is the main dinosaur of the story, being released late in issue one and running amok in and around Glen Rose, Texas throughout the entire series. It’s responsible for the destruction of a robotic dinosaur from Dinosaur Valley Park, some buildings and vehicles when it rampaged through town, as well as the death of several people.

The Carnotaurus is described as a mainly nocturnal hunter in the comics, although it’s shown hunting both during the day as well as night time.

The Carnotaurus in the Redemption series is given the name “gigas” due to its apparently large size. Carnotaurus, in the fossil record, are known to reach about thirty feet long (nine meters) and about ten to eleven feet tall (3.5+ meters.) In Redemption the Carnotaurus is seen to be around the size of a Tyrannosaurus rex.
