Densaka (C/N)

Like Hamaguri, Densaka was a Japanese investment consortia that helped fund InGen in the early 1980s. InGen founder, John Hammond used his “Pachyderm Portfolio” to catch both the investor’s eyes, which persuaded the firms to provide venture capital. Both Hamaguri and Densaka were included in the group of few investors willing to wait five years before gaining return on their capital, though their love of zoos helped partially persuade them.
