A scientist who assists the army in reorganising Jurassic Park; he plays Drs Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler into being dismissed from the island, before ultimately being dismissed himself. By this point, however, he has knowledge of the Park and of the missing Velociraptors, and is hired by Bill Steingarten, head of BioSyn, to find the Raptors and set up a new Jurassic Park. He hires Dr LaDonna Belvedere as head-keeper in turn for having the Raptors, and proceeds to set up walls around the Raptors. When Ian Malcolm and Ellie stumble upon his “park”, he prepares to kill them, but the escaped Raptors turn on him and his men and kill them.
