Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar (S/F)

The Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar, also known by its military designation R4Q, is a military transport aircraft first manufactured by Fairchild Aircraft for the United States Armed Forces in the years following World War II. Initially produced and flown in 1947, it was taken out of production in 1955. Almost none are still in use, with virtually every surviving example currently displayed in museums.
