  • Malcolm has a walking stick because his injury in JP1 left permenent damaged that worsened as he aged
  • Sorna was never depopulated, there was a biosphere collapse but it didn't wipe the entire dinosaur population out, we know the Spinosaurus and TLW T-Rexes survived.
  • JP:TG is canon but the bad ending where Nima dies. Nublar was never bombed because the Costa Rican Government intervened and prevented the US from Napalm Bombing their territory since Nublar was still part of Costa Rica, just leased by InGen.
  • Roland Tembo from TLW joined the DPG after JW
  • Paul and Amanda Kirby were locked up for life by the Government, but they didn't care because Eric survived.
  • Indoraptors are actually social, they're made of the DNA of Raptors and T-Rexes which are both social animals, the Prototype only gained anti-social tendencies after it was locked in a box and ignored by its creators for its entire life.
  • Owen was never the alpha of the Raptor pack, he was the 'parent', Blue was the alpha. That's why they were much more temperamental in JW compared to earlier, because they'd grown up but Owen was still treating them like children from their POV
  • Following from that, the Indominus never became the Alpha. Blue listened to it because she was the empathetic one. She and the other Raptors turned on the Indominus when it tried to order them to kill a pack member for no reason, thus challenging Blue's authority as the alpha.
  • The Raptors were never trying to kill Owen or Barry. They saw both of them as pack members and assumed they were helping.
  • The Indominus Rex was perfectly functional socially. It's interactions with Toro and the Raptors imply this. It ate its sibling because JW underestimated how much food it required and it only killed for sport because it had never hunted before (A behaviour consistent with real animals that were raised in captivity)

-The Jurassic World apatosaurs were all slaughtered in the same place because they stood together trying to defend each other. Their inexperience was what got them killed; they'd never fought a predator before and couldn't learn quickly enough. The final one to be attacked ended up farther away from its companions because it tried to flee, knowing the rest of its herd was dead.

-After Dominion, the black market dinosaurs were rescued and brought to the Biosyn sanctuary by the United Nations and DPW. Ghost was badly injured but survived, and Leonard now lives in a burrow in the Therizinosaurus territory (she appreciates his capacity for violence).

I thought of one the other day it's sort of a cross-universe hybrid of ideas from the novel and games like Operation Genesis and Jurassic World Evolution

Ed Regis, Jane Powers, and Cabot Finch all worked with Hammond closely to build up hype for the Jurassic Park project, but after the accident at the park, both Regis and Powers left InGen leaving only Cabot Finch remaining employed with InGen up until 1997/1998 and facilitated the idea to Hammond of letting Simon Masrani by InGen out after the San Diego Incident.

-Gunnar Eversoll had been shot at before. It wasn't the Stygimoloch that scared him into hiding, it was the gunfire--notice how even after things quiet down and he can hear a person outside for a good minute or two, he still doesn't come out. He isn't just scared, he's shell-shocked. It's only when he hears Wheatley actively being torn apart that he pulls himself together enough to move.

-The Baryonyx attacked Rainn Delacourt specifically because he fell into its cockfighting pit. This was an animal trained to view *anything* opposite it in the pit as a target, which was not only why it attacked Rainn but why it persisted in chasing him out of the pit to kill him.

-The construction worker who was killed by the Dimetrodons having his death covered up by Biosyn was a major factor in radicalizing Ramsay to eventually realize that the company's leadership was corrupt, and later bring them down.

-The fact that Soyona prefers melee combat over ranged combat is part of why she is so skilled with the Atrociraptors. She fights like they do, and therefore has to think in the way that they do.
