The 12-amp taser rifle is a less-than-lethal firearm manufactured by and for International Genetic Technologies Security Division for animal control. It fires electrically charged projectiles which deliver twelve amperes of electric current upon impact, neutralizing but not killing medium- to large-sized animals. This weapon was developed sometime after 2004 and was in regular use by 2015.
