Rossiter was head of the Biosyn Corporation after the Isla Nublar Incident, replacing Steingarten. He had taken a dislike to the company’s head researcher Lewis Dodgson due to his reckless style and often-illegal methods, although he was aware of the fact that due to his ruthless nature he was able to generate results and effectively compete with other genetics companies. Despite his apparent exasperation with Dodgson’s failure to acquire InGen’s dinosaur embryos the last time he had attempted to, Rossiter eventually authorised Dodgson’s expedition to Isla Sorna during their meeting at Biosyn’s Animal Testing Facility.
