Heckler & Koch HK-91 (T/C)

The HK-91, which is a semi-automatic variant of the G3, is one of the rarest rifles in the game, and rightfully so, as it is also one of the most powerful. One of the easiest rifles to aim, it hold twenty rounds per magazine, and can drop all types of Velociraptors, including “Tribe C”, in two to three (give or take) head-shots.

Why Heckler & Koch renamed the HK-41 in 1974 is unclear. One theory is that they wanted to change the perception of the rifle from a paramilitary rifle to a semi-automatic sporting rifle. Some modifications were made to the HK-91 in order to comply to U.S. firearm regulations that were not which do not appear on the HK-41 model. Any parts that could allow fully-automatic fire were removed. A shelf was welded onto the receiver where the push-pin of the trigger pack would normally go, to prevent installation of a fully automatic trigger pack. This did not allow the use of the paddle style magazine release and so the magazine release button on the right side of the magazine well must be used instead.

The barrel length is 19.7 in. (500mm). A version of the HK-91 with a drum-magazine was intended to be in the game, but was cut at some point.
