GE M134 Minigun (S/F)

The M134 minigun is an American-made six-barreled rotary gun designed by General Electric and first sold in 1963. It was designed to be mountable in helicopters during the Vietnam War, and is capable of firing six thousand rounds per minute.

Behind the Scenes

Originally in 2015’s Jurassic World, the role of the M134 was intended to be filled by a Browning M2. In fact, the audio during the scene when the M134 is fired at the Indominus rex was taken from a Browning M2.
