Magnetic Resonance Imaging (S/F)

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a radiological technique which uses magnetic fields and radio waves to image organs inside a body. It is differentiated from CT and PET scans by the fact that it does not use x-rays or ionizing radiation, instead employing nuclear magnetic resonance.
