Mosasaurus sp. (L/M)

Mosasaurus is a genus of extremely large marine reptile in the family Mosasauridae. Its fossilized remains are found in Europe, North America, and western Africa. This animal originally lived from 82.7 to 66 million years ago, during the Campanian to Maastrichtian ages of the late Cretaceous period. A few species are known, including the type species Mosasaurus hoffmanni, Mosasaurus missouriensis, Mosasaurus conodon, Mosasaurus lemonnieri, and Mosasaurus beaugei.
