Palmgrass (S/F)

Palmgrass (Setaria palmifolia), also called highland or short pitpit, broadleaved bristlegrass, typhoon grass, and knotroot, is a species of plant in the grass family Poaceae. It is native to temperate and tropical regions of Asia, but has been introduced around the world to become an invasive species. While it is most commonly grown as an ornamental plant, it is edible; its stems can be cooked and eaten.
