Panic Pete is a stress-relieving toy. When the main body is squeezed, the eyes and ears pop out. There are several other names given to this toy, including Obie, Bug-Out Bob, Martian Popper, and Alien Squeeze Toy. Small variations are visible upon closer examination, but it is unknown exactly which of these was used by Nedry.
A vintage toy, presumably released in the 1950’s, it is still being manufactured today in all the various forms and names. Dennis Nedry was using a Panic Pete in the Jurassic Park Control Room.
