Procoptodon sp. (L/M)

Procoptodon is a genus of kangaroos in the subfamily Sthenurinae, including some of the largest and smallest kangaroo species known. Remains of this species are found in Australia. It originally lived between 50,000 and 18,000 years ago, during the Meghalayan age of the Quaternary period. A number of species have been discovered:
