Project Footprint was an illegal espionage program carried out by BioSyn Genetics between 1993 and 1994. After the failure of Lewis Dodgson to acquire dinosaur embryos from disgruntled InGen programmer Dennis Nedry, this operation sought to acquire any usable DNA samples from InGen. It concluded in 1994 with the successful retrieval of samples from Isla Nublar‘s then-abandoned Jurassic Park facility.
