Pterodactylus antiquus (L/M)

Pterodactylus is a genus of small pterodactyloid pterosaur in the clade Euctenochasmatia. Fossilized remains have been found in Europe and possibly Africa. This reptile originally lived during the early Tithonian stage of the Jurassic period, between 150.8 and 148.5 million years ago. Although many species have been assigned to Pterodactylus throughout the history of paleontology, only one species is officially confirmed at the moment, called Pterodactylus antiquus.
