The trailers were a pair of vehicles connected by an accordion. The vehicle was built by Eddie Carr and his company. The back trailer served as a mobile laboratory where research and experimentation was conducted. Dr. Ian Malcolm used it to try to call for the boat to transport his family off the island. Concurrently, Nick Van Owen and Sarah Harding used the lab as a medical facility to set a baby Tyrannosaur‘s broken leg. The trailers were attacked by the baby’s parents to retrieve their child and defend their new territory. The trailers were pushed over the cliff and destroyed, taking the radio and satellite phone and forcing the gatherer team to join forces with the hunters.
