Saw Ridge Cattle Company was a cattle ranch operating as a front for an illegal dinosaur breeding and trafficking operation in Nevada. The operation housed a variety of species, most prominently, Nasutoceratops. As it was a breeding operation, the facility consisted of both adult and juvenile specimens. Although the farm was in a remote location, there was a nearby herd of ceratopsians consisting of Nasutoceratops, Triceratops, and Sinoceratops roaming around, which was likely used by the dinosaur traffickers.
In early 2022, the poaching operation was infiltrated by Claire Dearing and Zia Rodriguez, who snuck into the facility to document the illegal dinosaur trade. Upon entering, they discovered a juvenile Nasutoceratops that had been removed from the rest for being too sickly, and rescued it. After the operation was reported to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the operation was shut down, and all animals removed.
