Swamp Cypress (C/N)

The Swamp Cypress refers to more than a single species of plants featured in the Cupressaceae family. This family can refer to the genus of Taxodium, the near threatened Actinostrobus, or the critically endangered Glyptostrobus.

Back when the park was still functional, the Jurassic Park  tour vehicles featured a narration by Richard Kiley to explain what surrounded the viewers at a certain place and time. During a section of the tour, Kiley began discussing the various beautiful plant life around the park. Once he begins discussing more modern plant life spread throughout the park, he brings up the pine and fir trees, and finally, briefly mentions the swamp cypresses.
