Titanoboa cerrejonensis (L/M)

Titanoboa is a genus of extremely large constrictor snake in the family Boidae, closely related to modern boas. It originally lived between 60 and 58 million years ago, during the Selandian to Thanetian ages of the Paleocene epoch during the Paleogene period. Fossils of this reptile are found in northern South America. One species is known, Titanoboa cerrejonensis.
