Iguanodon sp. (L/M)

Iguanodon is a genus of large ornithopod dinosaurs in the family Iguanodontidae. Its fossils have been found throughout Europe. This herbivorous dinosaur originally lived between 126 and 122 million years ago, between the Barremian and Aptian stages of the early Cretaceous period. There are two recognized species, the widespread type species Iguanodon bernissartensis and the Spanish Iguanodon galvensis. The original described species, Iguanodon anglicus, is known only from one tooth and is probably the same as Iguanodon bernissartensis.
