Battle at Big Rock was a short film directed by Jurassic World director and writer Colin Trevorrow. Trevorrow as well as Emily Carmichael, the writer for the 2021 final installment of the series, all served as a writer for the short. The musical composition was by Amie Doherty and this is notable because the short features The Lost World: Jurassic Park‘s theme in the credits, which is a first since the film’s release in 1997. Battle at Big Rock takes place approximately one year after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and deals with the aftermath of the film by having brought the dinosaurs from their home on Isla Nublar directly to Northern California which has caused them to spread across the continental United States. The film…
The Sanctuary Island was a supposed island sanctuary that the Isla Nublar dinosaurs would have been taken to in response to the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Sibo, had the United States Congress decided not to intervene in the destruction of Isla Nublar. This island had supposedly been purchased by Eli Mills, who was the manager of Benjamin Lockwood’s estate and fortune. The island itself was of considerable size, with most of its coast made up of a large cliff that sloped to an ocean lagoon lined by a half circle of satellite islands. The island was ringed by mountains, and the lagoon had sandy beaches. Whether or not this island actually existed, or if Eli Mills had been lying about its existence and purchase is unknown.
Gunnar Eversol was played by Toby Jones in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. 2018 Gunanr Eversol was invited to be the auctioneer for Eli Mills at the Lockwood estate in 2018 after the remaining dinosaurs on Isla Nublar were transferred to the mainland by Ken Wheatley. However, Gunnar was a shrewd business person and didn’t take Eli Mills seriously entirely because he perceived that the dinosaurs would not be profitable enough to be worth his time. In order to convince him, Eli Mills took him to the underground basement of the Mansion in order to show him the Indoraptor project, which successfully convinced him to headline the auction. Eversol greeted the auction guests, and as they entered he explained to Mills who each one of them was. Eversol auctioned off…

Synopsis: Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis (known colloquially as ‘JP:OG’ or ‘JPOG’) is a video game for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 based on the novel and film series Jurassic Park. The main point of the game is to recreate Jurassic Park – building a 5 star theme park with dinosaurs, and turning John Hammond’s dream into reality. In the park, the player builds paths, amenities for visitors such as, food and toilets, as well as enclosures and attractions. One must also keep the park safe and secure. For example, during a raptor breakout detected by a security camera, one raptor could run towards the visitors and be quickly taken down by a sentry turret (an automatic heavy machine gun), while the rest could be sedated by the…
Synopsis: Jurassic Park: Trespasser (also known as Trespasser) is a video game, which was released in 1998 for Microsoft Windows after much hype and anticipation. The player assumes the role of Anne, the sole survivor of a plane crash on InGen’s “Site B” one year after the events of The Lost World: Jurassic Park. With a fractured arm and only her wits, Anne must escape the remote island by solving puzzles and evading dangerous dinosaurs. Trespasser’s game engine was advanced for its time and required a fast computer to adequately display the game’s detailed graphics without pixellation artifacts. The game disappointed many reviewers and is often mocked, but has a cult following and a strong modification community to this day. An ultrasonic sensors (or ultrasound transducer) is a device which works on a similar principle to radar or sonar to evaluate attributes of a target by interpreting echoes from radio or sound waves, respectively. Ultrasound sensors generate high-frequency sound waves and evaluate the echo which is received back by the sensor. Sensors calculate the time interval between sending the signal and receiving the echo to determine the distance to an object. This type of technology was used in the Park to keep track of the number of Dinosaurs, and to locate them if needed. However, the system was debunked when it was discovered that the dinosaurs were reproducing and even escaping without the knowledge of the park staff.

Edmontosaurus, meaning “Edmonton lizard”, is a hadrosaurid from the Late Cretaceous period approximately 73-65 million years ago. Edmontosaurus has a complicated taxonomic history specimens of Edmontosaurus have been classified with various genera including Anatosaurus, Anatotitan, Claosaurus, Diclonius, Hadrosaurus, Thespesius, and Trachodon. Presently, Anatosaurus and Anatotitan are possible synonyms to Edmontosaurus. Edmontosaurus hails from Alberta, Canada in the Horeshoe Canyon Formation (originally known as the lower Edmonton Formation) and was discovered in 1917 by Lawrence Lambe. Remains, though unknown at the time, were first found of Edmontosaurus in 1892 by Othniel Charles Marsh. Marsh originally gave the name to these remains of Claosaurus, but later changed to Anatosaurus. Edmontosaurus reached sizes of anywhere between 9 meters (30 ft) long meters to 13 meters (43 ft) long and weighed anywhere around 4.0 metric tons (4.4 short tons). Edmontosaurus was encountered by Simon and…
