Martel was a privately-operated paleontological site in Siberia, Russia. It was operated by International Genetic Technologies, a subsidiary of Masrani Global Corporation, for the excavation of woolly mammoth remains and extraction of ancient DNA from the extinct elephants. Martel came under construction in 2012 and was finalized on November 15, 2014; it operated until February 2017.
