MMR Vaccine (S/F)

The mumps, measles, and rubella (MMR) vaccine is a type of attenuated combination vaccine which gives protection against the three diseases in its name. After two doses, it yields immunity to measles and rubella in 97% of patients, and immunity to mumps in 88% of patients. Its side effects are fairly mild and usually subside without any medical intervention. Since its introduction in 1963, the vaccine has reduced the global death rate from these diseases by millions of lives per year.
