Pachycephalosaurus is a genus of dinosaur in the family Pachycephalosauridae. Its fossils are found in western North America, and it initially lived in the Maastrichtian stage of the late Cretaceous period between 70 and 66 million years ago. The only known species in this genus is Pachycephalosaurus wyomingensis.
