Allspice (S/F)

Allspice is a type of culinary spice made from the dried berries of the pimento tree (Pimenta dioica). The plant is native to Central America but is cultivated in warm regions worldwide. Allspice was so named by the English in the 17th century due to its flavor, described as a combination of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg. It is commonly used in cuisine around the world, but especially in Jamaica, the Middle East, and Europe.
