Bananogmius is a genus of marine tselfatiiform fish in the family Plethodidae. Fossils of this fish are found in western North America. It originally lived between 93.9 and 89.8 million years ago, during the Turonian age of the Cretaceous period. Four species are currently known: Bananogmius ellisensis, Bananogmius auratus, Bananogmius favirostri, and Bananogmius ornatus.
