The Bell 206A JetRanger is an American-made multipurpose utility helicopter manufactured by Bell Helicopter. Production began in 1960, and the helicopter was first introduced commercially in 1967. The name JetRanger was added to its title for marketing purposes after it was phased out of military use. It was replaced in January 1973 by the Bell 206B JetRanger II.
