In various places along the course of Trespasser, Anne comes across different pieces of military attire, sometimes with human remains inside or nearby. One example is a severed foot inside of a military combat boot. All that is visible of the foot is the mangled flesh from where the ankle was detached, poking out from the top of the boot.
