Carcharodontosaurus saharicus is a species of very large carnivorous theropod dinosaur in the family Carcharodontosauridae. It lived during the Cenomanian age of the Cretaceous period, between 99 and 94 million years ago. Fossils have been found in Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco. It is one of two species of Carcharodontosaurus; the other, C. iguidensis, has been found in Niger.
