Chalicotherium sp. (L/M)

Chalicotherium is a genus of herbivorous ungulate in the family Chalicotheriidae. Its fossils are found in Eurasia. Originally, it lived between 16 and 3.6 million years ago, from the Burdigalian to Piacenzian ages of the Neogene period. There are three known species: Chalicotherium goldfussi is found in Europe, while Chalicotherium brevirostris is found in eastern Asia and Chalicotherium salinum is found in southern Asia.
