Colby Boothman-Shepard is portrayed by stuntman Colby Boothman-Shepard, who the character is named after. Many people assume his character to be named Leon, since this is the name given to him in the LEGO Jurassic World video game, but he is identified by name on his employee ID card on the Jurassic World Careers web page. In the film credits, he is simply listed as “Young Raptor Handler.” He is not based on any particular character in Michael Crichton‘s novels but is instead an original character made for Jurassic World.
