The common cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis), also called the European common cuttlefish, is a species of cuttlefish in the family Sepiidae. It is among the largest cuttlefish species, and is found on sandy and muddy seabeds of the Mediterranean, Baltic, and North Seas.
