Monkey Puzzle Tree (S/F)

The monkey puzzle tree (Araucaria araucana), also called the monkey tail tree, piñonero, or pewen, is a species of evergreen coniferous tree native to western South America. It is the hardiest of the Araucaria trees. Plants similar in appearance, and closely related, to the monkey puzzle are known from fossils dating to the Jurassic period. The monkey puzzle has been considered an endangered species by the IUCN since 2013.
