Microsoft/National Broadcasting Company, or Microsoft NBC (MSNBC), is an American news network which broadcasts on television and the internet. It is owned by Comcast Corporation through its subsidiary NBCUniversal. MSNBC was founded in 1996 through a partnership between Microsoft Corporation and the National Broadcasting Company, a division of General Electric. As of 2023, it was the second-most-watched cable news broadcast in the United States of America.
