Navajo (S/F)

The Navajo, also called the Diné, are an Indigenous American people who have inhabited the Southwestern region of North America since at least 1400 CE. The seat of government of the Navajo Nation is currently located at Window Rock, Arizona; this is one of the few examples of a Native American people inhabiting largely the same area where they historically lived prior to the widespread genocides perpetrated by European colonists and later the American federal government.
