Pliosaurus sp. (L/M)

Pliosaurus is a genus of very large pliosaur in the clade Thalassophonea. It originally lived from 155.7 to 147 million years ago, during the Kimmeridgian to Tithonian ages of the late Jurassic period. Fossils have been found in Europe and South America. Currently, the known species are Pliosaurus brachydeirus (the type species), Pliosaurus carpenteri, Pliosaurus funkei, Pliosaurus kevani, Pliosaurus rossicus, and Pliosaurus westburyensis.
