Prawn Cocktail (S/F)

Prawn cocktails are a British seafood dish consisting of a glass of cooked prawns in cocktail sauce or Marie Rose sauce. While it was very popular in the 1960s to 1980s in both Britain and the United States, its popularity has since declined. During the post-World War II decades in Great Britain, it was considered a vital component of the Great British Meal, along with steak garni and Black Forest cake.
