Scorpios antivenom is a medical treatment for envenomation by Scorpios rex stings. It is likely similar in composition to scorpionfish antivenom. Like all types of antivenom it consists of antibodies and is administered via injection. As with fish antivenom, it is injected intramuscularly. Like the animal for which the antivenom is designed, it was developed and produced exclusively by International Genetic Technologies. Only a small number of doses were ever produced, with production occurring only in 2009.
