Stun Grenade (S/F-T/G)

A stun grenade, also called a flashbang or flash grenade, is a nonlethal explosive which is used to temporarily disable or distract enemies. The grenade does not rupture, but instead emits a bright flash of about 7Mcd followed by a loud bang in excess of 170dB. These combined effects blind, deafen, and unbalance those in their proximity, rendering them confused and disoriented. Despite being described as nonlethal, they can cause severe injury under certain circumstances such as permanent damage to eyesight and hearing, and may also cause burns in close proximity or ignite fires which can lead to further harm.
