Austin, Texas is the capital of the US state of Texas. Located in Central Texas on the
eastern edge of the American Southwest, Austin is the 11th most populous
city in the United States of America and the fourth most populous city
in Texas.
Ian Malcolm lectured in Austin, Texas at presumably at a university. Kelly was quick to request being her father’s research assistant, like in Austin, when Dr. Malcolm was to disembark for Isla Sorna in 1997. Ian declined and informed her where he was going was nothing like Austin.
